It is March! Time to start seeds and start planting vegetables, herbs and flowers. Pots and planting boxes can be expensive to purchase, but you can build them from scrap wood. Here are two examples of using leftover fence slats, donated pallets, recycled tables and other scrap wood. The clay pots were about $4 each. They will work well for herbs and flowers on front porch.
