Organizing 2019 Classes/Events

Hello Home Grown members and not yet members!
As Home Grown is preparing and organizing our 2019 classes/events, we hope your new year is off to a fabulous start. I know all this snow we are getting is really helping the trees and plants and it is a good time to plan out your gardens and for us to plan out the Home Grown New Mexico classes. We are excited about several new things on the horizon we want to share with you.

We are gearing up for an exceptional season of supporting our members with gardening, preservation, fermentation and cooking classes to help us all create a more sustainable life for ourselves whether you live in the city or countryside.

We will start our season with the Seed Exchange which will take place at Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association from 4-6 pm on March 13th.

We are tightening up our class info right now and will put out the actual classes/schedule in a few days. Stay tune for the classes to be released in early March.

Together let’s make this one the best year yet!

  1. Will there be a seed exchange at Frenchy’s Field or elsewhere in 2019 and if so, where?

    • Hi Alma-
Yes, the first event is the Seed Exchange but we had to move the venue to Santa Fe Home Builders Association community room as the heater in Frenchy’s Barn is broken right now. It is on March 13 from 4pm-6pm. But we have a bonus this year-we have some gently used garden and cook books for sale many of which come from my own library of books which is vast. Hope you can make it and bring friends to the best seed exchange yet! The post is going up right after I write this!
