World Food Day, 2015
World Food Day
Friday, Oct. 16, 2015
12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Santa Fe Fairgrounds off Rodeo Road
Come to this event. Home Grown New Mexico is not involved in putting this on but feel that topic is relevant and should be a great event. Hope to see you there.
On Friday the Food Policy Council of Santa Fe will be hosting an event in celebration of World Food Day. Check out the flyer below for the list of events.
Santa Fe Master Gardener Association will be represented at the panel discussion at 3:00 pm at the Rodeo Grounds off Rodeo Road (through the white gates) in the Large Annex (classroom). The topic will be the current state of urban gardening and farming throughout Santa Fe County.
John Alejandro from the City will also be on the panel to discuss the state of the long-awaited Urban Agricultural Ordinance which will allow the sale of garden produce from our homes. This will be a great event with all kinds of activities, culminating with a great Pop-up Pot-Luck dinner at 6:30 pm.
