Dear Janine & Giant Veggie Members,

This article was very interesting, however further research indicates that all Neem Oils are not the same. In fact I was unable to find reasonably priced 100% Cold Pressed Neem Oil with Azadirachtin at any of the local greenhouse and garden suppliers. This video is a very thorough discussion of using Neem Oil sprays in the garden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSLtlc0yGIQ.

I was able to order 100% Cold Pressed Neem Oil with Azaridachtin at a reasonable price here:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0719GHQ35/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Additionally, the above recipe appears to use twice as much Neem Oila as necessary.

I hope you find this helpful.

    Daniel O.

I’ve started delaying the planting of my squash and cukes until the first of July – no squash bugs yet!
